Property Description
Have you always dreamed of owning a large, quite, secluded property surrounded by National Forest but you only want to be about roughly an hour from the city? Well every once in awhile dreams really do come true, but only if you act fast. This property is truly a one of a kind. You literally have to cut through a camp ground, past two locked gates, and what will await you at the top of your 37.38 acre! parcel is one of the most private, beautifully maintained get away properties you're likely ever see come on the market again. You own property on both sides of the main road coming in.
Seller's artistic eye for detail and backbreaking work shines all throughout this property. From the many painstakingly hard work put into the beautifully hand dug & natural rock masoned retaining walls, stairs, & outdoor fireplace. To the absolutely stunning rustic off grid dry cabin which is roughly 500 square feet inside plus a 25x8 loft that you can stand up in. Cabin has electrical with outlets, lights, and ceiling fan and is powered by a new gas generator that will stay with the property, or the new owner can bring public utilities in from lot lot line below. Cabin was built to last in 2020/2021 using with 2x6 framing and is fully insulated. It has a metal roof and a brand new Vermont Castings wood burning stove. Cabin's siding is a true piece of history in and of itself as it is completely made from 100+ year old cedar barn wood from a barn in Northern California. Windows and doors are double paned. Windows are Pella brand. Cabin currently has internet and Directv. The cabin was built without a permit and is a dry cabin meaning there is no well and septic currently. The cabin was very well built as the pictures/description tell. Leave it as a get away cabin or add on and make a full time residence. The choice is yours to make. Seller is willing to negotiate for the cabins furnishings other than some personal items which he will be removing soon.

Direction From Denver Take HWY 285 Toward Bailey. At the intersection of 285 and CR 43 (Deer Creek Rd) turn right (you will see Loaf & Jug). You will follow this road all the way to Deer Creek Campgrounds. Deer Creek Road goes continue to the left 12 miles in if you continue straight the road goes back into Harris Park. You want to continue to the left at Clark Rd to continue on Deer Creek Rd for 2 miles until you reach the Deer Creek Campground. Then you take the \"one way\" Deer Creek Camp Ground Road (2nd entrance) past the first couple camp sites. You are going to see a little road that cuts to the right. Turn right on that road then follow to the first gate. You will also have to go over the creek on the right. You can pick a wooden bridge or a shallow water passing once over the bridge continue to gate. Follow road all the way to back of neighborhood. See sign on left. You will need at least a pretty high up vehicle. I think you could do it with a light SUV but I would recommend a 4X4. There are rocks in the road.
